Finally got the cockpit done and added my pilot. Just got to matt varnish it tomorrow and weather it on Wednesday hopefully.
Then I can start assembling the fuselage. Pantherman

I didn't work on mine today, but I might spend a moment or two tonight when I get home. Provided I don't have any incidents.
But, with it being 113° today that keeps a lot of people indoors.

It can get fairly hot and it's not even August yet.

Got the tail section complete. However, I ran into another hiccup. I have to cut a notch out of the left aileron

Cockpit weathering now done so assembled the fuselage. Might do a few more bits later if I get the chance.
Got to do the washing up and cook the wife's dinner yet and it's getting late . Pantherman

Yes it is.
After trying to fit it and looking at the illustrations, there is supposed to be a notch in that aileron like the right one has.

I've ordered a razor saw which should be here tomorrow, which is fine. Now I can try masking the exhausts in the meantime.

I did not work on this last night had a couple of incidents popup close to the end of the shift, of course.
Hopefully I'll have an easy night tonight.

I painted the nose pink after I masked the exhaust, in case the tape were to come loose.
Still a.ways to go. Next in masking the wing tips which house the red and green lights.
Then the underside radiators and intakes

It's a light coat. I was getting sleepy as it was 1:00 am, so I stopped.

I most likely won't be back on the bench until Monday.
When I work night duty and after I get home around 10.30. I just want to chill with the wife, shower and go to bed.
