I'm just an amateur tinkering with stuff I've never tried before. PMWhere were you when we were designing our optical telecom switches in the 90s? BT had a spot waiting for you!
Very neat. Very Panther!
Nice! All in the details...look a little better
Very true, thanks. PMNice! All in the details...
I assume so, I will investigate. PanthermanNice!!
So, the windlass of the bow anchor was in the hull??
Looking a bit more deeper into this I think that the bow point anchor was just a backup which could be connected to the other main anchor chains.Nice!!

Agree. The only reason i did not take this set is the size: 1/200 gets difficult to work on, mainly the hull. No space on my workbenchI have recently been looking at the 1/200 trumpeter Bismarck with the Pontos advanced upgrade kit.
It's almost £700 for both but I figure it will take me a year to build it. Works out around £58 a month which is more than I would normally spend in a year
Think it's going to be worth it though. Pantherman
I think I will have the same problems, the 1/350 bismarck was just about able to fit my workspace. PanthermanAgree. The only reason i did not take this set is the size: 1/200 gets difficult to work on, mainly the hull. No space on my workbench
Yes, probably have to glue it onto the hull as it doesn't locate as such. PanthermanAN P/M love your stand similar to mine for the hornet did it come with the kit ?
chrisb
WELL why not stick a couple of pins in the stand an then drill two holes in the hull an so that the hull will lift off the stand like i have done an it will sit on the pins an it wont come off an if you decide that you would like to do a water dio you can best of both worlds there as i might do that with my hornetYes, probably have to glue it onto the hull as it doesn't locate as such.
