Name of Build: Romulan V11 - Stormbird
Kit manufacturer: Revell
Scale: approx. 1:650
Description
A product of the Romulan/Klingon technology alliance saw the famous Klingon D7 design handed over to the Romulans in exchange for the Romulan cloaking technology.
This is a non-canon, modified design. I'm going to place this ship around 2275, shortly after the conclusion of The Animated Series and a few years before The Motion Picture.
I used Tamiya acrylics for most of the hull, and Alclad II lacquers for some metallic parts.
The bird patterns were designed by Thomas Marrone for a 3D video game model. He gave permission for me to convert them to decals for this project.
