night time shot please.

Been snapping away all night!

She's finished now folks. I'll use some of the following pics for the final shots, but I'll take more tomorrow in the daylight.

Could've done better with the light spread across the command deck. Ah well, only really stands out at this angle.

I used warm white LEDs instead of my usual white.

Romulan V11- Stormbird

Thanks for the comments Mike, Glor and Grendels.

Very happy with her, though I know she's not perfect, it's my best work yet, and I think that's down to the contest pushing me to raise my game.

Just getting the makeshift 'photo booth' set up somewhere with plenty of sunlight (well there is no sun today, nor has there been for most of June where I am!).

She's still a beauty!!!!
Did you find her just hanging out in a hobby shop, or did you order her online?

Thanks Mike. I got the kit online, like most of my models. Since my LHS closed last year, my nearest shop is Wonderland, Edinburgh, around 25 miles away. I should really go through more often, but with fuel prices the way they are and train fares are ridiculous, I feel it's better to shop on the internet.

WOW,
that panelling you did is very subtle but perfect, fan-friggin-tastic my friend.

Stunning work in just 3 months ;D

Congratulations :D

Thanks alot Glor and ND!

ND, the majority of the windows on the kit are pre-cut. I wish I could take credit for them being so square. The only ones I did are on the 'neck'. :)
