Here's another of the Toy Biz Marvel Comics line of model kits. "The Thing" made in 1996, and I probably built it in '96 as well. He was a snap together model, but I glued him, and sanded, scraped, glued, and did more filling and some more sanding...
Then I sprayed him and his base completely flat black, and then dry-brushed, and painted numerous coats of varying shades of oranges and yellows.
All in all a very fun project, and another entry into the "All Open" category.






I just wish I was a better photographer. You can see what a difference lighting can make. The last photo was taken in the late afternoon, and really affected the color tone of the model.

Haven't built the Thing, no. But I did the Spider-man, and turned the Storm into a catgirl because of hoe frigging huge her feet were.
