About prototype I'm wondering if something that was build only once is a prototype ;) Or is it just an n accident at work? ;)

I would think so...yes. Again, it's all how you model it.

Ooh, I just had an idea. But it requires either a M1070+M1000, Famo, Dragon Wagon, or some other giant tank transporter. Or possibly a smaller cargo truck like the White 666…

I don't know if I can build a tank carrier in 3 months…

I think I'm going to join this year . I've been a member since july 2010 and have only 21 posts well 22 now ;D . I'm into armor so that's my category . Maybe a vignette . So how does one enter and pay when the time comes ? Never done this before .

Hey Army Vet, glad to see your still here. As the time gets closer to March 1st Scott or someone else in the staff will send out the final instructions but its pretty simple.

You take a picture next to the computer or cell phone showing the unstarted kit March 1st or later, send that in, and boom, your entered.

Would you guys be totally shocked if I built this for the contest? ;D

now I have two prototypes in mind but seeing if I can put what is in my head into a model that is going to be interesting I may have to come up with a back up just in case :)

Nope, it has four wheels........

;D

I for one would like to see what you do with it....

Thanks John. This is one of those kits that just pulled me in. I really like the looks of it.

Me too, I'm thinking chopped, lowered and some kind of scoop 8)

Maybe some of you guys can help me out.

My idea is to have a large transport vehicle (was thinking a MAZ537, M19, M1070, or SLT-56) transporting some alien technology (kind of a nod to X-Files, sci-fi, and old school weird World War pulp fiction). I also plan on setting my build in the near future and the military vehicle is being repurposed for my imaginary future army. So making it accurate to WWII, Vietnam≤ et. al. is not required.

Here's where I need your help. I've never built an armour kit before. I suspect those kits are very large and even more complicated. I like the MAZ and the SLT as I could even go more sci-fi and set everything on Mars as they look like the cab could be sealed. But, it comes down to which transports I can get a hold of.

Just wondering if those kits are doable in 3 months… or if I should rethink.

Cool idea. It's going to be loads of work but it's doable.
Here are some things that might work for you:

The first 2 look more spacey then the last one.

That could end in cars, armor and SciFi!
I am all for it!
That's what I immediately liked about this kit Tailor. So many options.

Thanks Biskup! Those first 2 look really nice. I think this one might work as well. Kinda reminds me of the explorer vehicle from the opening of Aliens. Now to find one of the options in Toronto. :/
