This build is really looking wicked Spud!!! It's been a while since I've had a chance to stop in. You're making a lot of progress bud. Excellent Work!!!
Lol all parts are ready for the sides front back and doors to go on I'll be doing that soon. Roof is painted also but I want to do something with the ceiling of it.
well from the pic i have i cant see if they are flat.. wich i presume they are. and now that you mention it, it never crossed my mind.. but once i have the base done you wont see the bottom of the tyres so they will prob stay as is.
here is an Up date that been long over due.
as you can see on this pic i broke part of the frame that holds one of the side doors, ill fix it
Put the rim in the tyre , cut a small slice in the tread where you want the tyre to be flat . I gently heated a bit of tin plate on the cooker ,trying not to get too hot or the tyre will stick !! gently press the trye down on the heated tin plate ,the slice will let the tyre open to create the bulge either side of the tyre ,but try not to have too much heat you dont want the tyre sticking or melting !! If you have any old wheels/tyres give it a go with one of them first ,but if you get it right it does create a tyre that looks like its been flat for a long time with the weight of the vehicle pressing in it
na not yet i kninda lost me mojo on it, its ready to go together once i figure out what i want to do with teh celing of it so its more or less done, for now, i doubt it will see any loving before the sma comp so mabe after it
