So today out with the courier , yes from ebay UK another 1/32nd!
This just reminds me of three my wife and I had and two our youngest son had as well!

After my late brother (he was born in 1939 so ten tears older than me) had bought various British Leyland cars, Mini Van and Austin 1100, that both rotted out early he bought one of these a special Jeans Edition, all of the interior in blue denim, he never looked back! No only solid but air-cooled!

I'll be watching. My wife drove a '68 and then a '72 Bug. I drove a '73 Westfalia.

Just realized that I had mentioned that on your Baja thread.

Mine although 1/32nd might be too radical in the painting department! Sorry not all radical!

Nice job on that!
... back in '92, on a Monarch butterfly research trip into the Sierra Transvolcánica, in the state of Michoacán, Mexico, I was just as astounded to see so many other bugs... Beetles and Combis (VW vans), as they were still being manufactured in Mexico!
D.F. (Distrito Federal), as Mexico city was still called, was literally crawling with them!
