Great job on the engine Scott! Question for ya. Was there some super scientific reason for using rubbing alcohol to thin the wash instead of just distilled water or acrylic thinner? Never used alcohol for thinning my acrylics before..

Cheers dude. yeah, fast evaporating that enamel really brings the pigments back..and they stick too.

Looks really good man, I'm sure it is worth the effort, you know you did it. Must be fun weathering at that big scale.
 
^ That's where I would start as well. Nothing adheres to plastic like plastic, no seams to crack or anything like that.
