Great job on the engine Scott! Question for ya. Was there some super scientific reason for using rubbing alcohol to thin the wash instead of just distilled water or acrylic thinner? Never used alcohol for thinning my acrylics before..

Cheers dude. yeah, fast evaporating that enamel really brings the pigments back..and they stick too.

I feel your pain Scott. My bench time has been non-existent. I hope to get back on track this week.

You could fill in the gaps around the doors with strips of styrene ;)

^ That's where I would start as well. Nothing adheres to plastic like plastic, no seams to crack or anything like that.
