I broke open this kit last night and decided it is my next build.
Shot some primer on it.

I debated getting that kit yesterday at Hobby Lobby as they are having a 40% off sale right now. Instead I picked up an Academy A-10 Thunderbolt II. Curious how this one goes together for you.

A-10 is my favorite aircraft. We are going to an air show in a couple weeks that features an A-10 and a P-51 Mustang. Can’t wait for that one.

Made some progress today.
This will be my first attempt at tinting a canopy. The pic of the canopy is the first coat of Transparent Yellow.

That is looking nice and it looks like it is going together quite well.

I have the Academy kit of this in the stash and keep getting tempted to start on it, this might have pushed me over the edge.

I really like the canopy tint, sometimes it looks over-done, but I think you got the right subtle mix

Thanks Blake. I did the first coat in transparent yellow and then two light coats of smoke. After it dried for around four hours I dipped it in Future then let it sit overnight.

I got a little bit of painting done. Need to go get some clear coat and still waiting on the Jet Exhaust paint for the vectoring nozzles.

It's looking great, I'm tempted to get the kit and have a go although I don't usually build aircraft. Pantherman

It's a good kit, some minor fit issues but the 1/72 has really small bits in it. Hard for me to see! LOL
