Arach I know what you mean. I didn't like the acrylic paint at first but after playing around with it a bit I started to really like the results. I guess it's mainly personal preference. I would say that if your happy with enamel paints and are happy with your results then keep at it. Don't change a thing. I am not sure about the weathering techniques with enamels but just play with it and see.
