I just found out about this movie, coming out in December 2011. The story is about a Korean marathoner during Japan's colonization of Korea who becomes an Imperial soldier to avoid execution, who becomes a Soviet soldier later when he is captured by the Soviets to avoid execution again, who reappears in Normandy to fight on the German side. His Japanese comrade who has been his former marathon rival stays with him throughout the story. Based on a true story. Direrted by Kang Je-gyu, same guy who directed 2004's Taegukgi.
