Husky 2 Gal Electric Air Compressor

Was shopping at Home Depot today and came across this compressor, they had a unit out of the box so I plugged it in to see how quiet it was. Not very noisy, actually.

I picked it up for $54. This unit is going to be just perfect for airbrushing!

Just thought I would share, I haven't fully put the unit through it's paces but I'll be doing so this weekend.

yes , I looked into one a while back .. it's an electric motor so no oil

silentair make some of the best airbrush compressos in the world and most of their line is not oil less
Including their top of the line.

mine is not oil less but I have never had an issue of oil actually getting into any of my filters.
still going strong after 10 years

I think it's more hype than anything,, unless something broke or wore out it shouldn't be an issue
or it's a real cheapy made one

I can review, do a video I believe. I'm happy with it so far, it's not the quietest compressor I've heard but you have have a conversation with it on.

I'm thinking of making a storage box that will isolate it and make it quieter as well.
