I got the tools all base coated today. The metal portions of the tools got a coat of Vallejo German Grey. The wood received Vallejo Panzer Aces Old Wood, and the tow cables got a coat of AK Interactive Dark Tracks from the Tracks and Wheels set.

It’s hard to see in the pictures, but I was able to get the decals to snuggle down into the zimmerit.

Pin washes are done as far as I’m going to take them on the gloss coat. I’ll do the side with the tools on a flat coat as I feel I have a little more control in creating some shadow areas. Flat coat goes on tomorrow night.
