'50 Chevy truck

hey guys. picked this kit up.

I plan on making it look like a fairly new truck maybe driven for a year by an old lady lol.
the truck will be a turquoise type blue color. only can't decide to do it all blue or maybe black fenders.

I painted the wood on the bed with oil over acrylic. added tiny amount of weathering on the underside.

Excellent start! I love the wood effect.
I just bought this kit from Elm City Hobbies using the gift certificate won in the BSC'13. It's my first automotive kit ever, so I'll be following your lead.

The wood grain work on the bed of the truck is awesome!

Great detailing on the engine and weathering job on the frame and box.

I'm looking forward to seeing more.
