1966 Revell Chevy Impala SS

Hi there guys/gals, haven't posted in a while. Just finished this '66 Revell Impala. Very nice kit, went together very well. Paint is Testor's enamel flat red and topped with Testor's Wet Look lacquer clear, wetsanded, polished and waxed. Tires are resin, rally wheels are sourced from another model I had in my stash.

That is one nice car. You knocked that paint job right out of the park. My old man had an Impala. A 4 door. I think it was 27' long not including the bumpers.

That is an amazing finish man, are you using a drying booth? ive been experimenting with a car body as ive just gotten an airbrush, im using 2000 grit wet n dry to polish the body but still am trying to get that perfect finish, your is inspirational, thanks for the pics.

Oh my goodness!! It turned out amazing!! You did a superb job. I am brand spankin new to model cars and have recently started my first kit. Cars are a lot of work but so much fun. I will have to look into getting this kit. You did the kit justice man!! Very very nicely done! It looks perfect.
