The smaller bend was around a paintbrush handle and the bigger bend was around the CA glue bottle. Tacked the end with thin CA and then just Tacked each section, let it set, then tacked the next bit. When all in place I ran some extra thin CA to fix the entire railing. Pantherman

I kinda find it really relaxing as I need to concentrate so much that anything else in my brain just shuts down and allows me to de-stress. I'm weird, I know. Pantherman

That's the very reason I've been sucked into this madness- very therapeutic, better than any meditation. I don't know about you but the effect has decreased as my experience has increased. I find I now have to work on more complicated tasks to have the same impact- not thinking. I just watched a blog about people who can't shut their minds off - it was nice as I always thought I was just odd. I guess I'm still odd but with company!

I did, should see it Sunday. Haven't purchased the Pontos upgrades yet...... Pantherman
HI P/M WELL i think kevin who built the big 1/200 ihio battleship said that pontos kit cost more than the ship kit but if it makes you happy sir than go for it but this is just my opinion but just ask kevin what
he thought of the pontos kit for value of money ?

I'm sane, it's everybody else that's nuts. Can't remember who said it but I've always remembered it as it makes me smile ☺️. Pantherman

Yeah, I think it's around £80 more than the Trumpeter kit. I have seen some reviews and it does look awesome, but only if you enjoy PE. If not, run away....... Pantherman

Also, just to pile on the pressure I have decided to get the advanced upgrade kit. I NEED HELP 😫. PM

Good luck. Hope to see you pull it off. What kind of line do you use for that? Like sewing thread or is there a modeling product? Do you glue it in place or tie knots? More importantly why the hell does a battleship need rigging? There's no sails.

I use black jewellery wire. If you take a length of it, secure one end and put the other in a pin vice or drill, then twist the wire until you feel it trying to turn the vice backwards. You should have a perfectly straight wire which is easier to fit as it needs no tension to keep it straight. Hope that helps. Pantherman
