Tristar Flakpanzer 38t (finished!)

Re: Tristar Flakpanzer 38t

Hi all, here is my progress - I pre-shaded lower part of the vehicle with black paint and then made a base coat and some highlights. Next will come the fun part - winter camo!

Re: Tristar Flakpanzer 38t

thanks, folks.

Here is my recent progress.

I did a wash (mixed MIG dark wash with some buff to make lighter tone), some faiding and mapping and small detail painting.

My wife says it looks really good now ;)

Re: Tristar Flakpanzer 38t

I'm not sure how but I have completely overlooked this build until now.
WOW! Fantastic work on the interior, the PE, the painting and the suburb detail! Very impressive.

Question: where did you get the hinges for the covers?

Re: Tristar Flakpanzer 38t

Your wife's right. It looks really good.
Needs the tracks really soon now

thanks, Grendels, Myke and Quaralane!

it is the same PE upgrade (Griffon model L35A016) that I used for engine hatches. Unfortunately PE covers do not match with Tristar so I used only hinges. It costs only 7 USD and there is enough hinges for transmission access door and drivers hatches.

I am not sure about the tracks. Still way to go with small detail painting.
