My next project is a Tiger I early from CyberHobby!

Yep that's right another Tiger is underway. As always things start with the wheels and running gear. I found some extra goodies that I will be adding along the way so keep your eyes pealed. Here are some progress shots.

an interesting build i did the italeri kit a few years ago and despite its age, it turned out ok with a few modern tweaks here and there.

Thanks guys! I've never completed a Dragon Tiger before so this an adventure. There are a lot more parts in the box than I need. Sorting....sorting.....sorting.

:D

Very nice Terry. But wernt the jacks painted teh same time as the tank ? or the same color?

I did a little more last night. The S-mine launchers have been added and wired and the wiring for the head lights added. I also did some more weathering on the muffler heat shields. New pictures!

Ok I've been working on these dang air filters for two night now and I think I finally got them together. The Dragon instructions stink! They show the assembly exactly backwards. I had to look at my references to get an idea of how things went. I lost a part and had to fabricate a new one. Whew! I am glad that's over! Moved on a little and added a tow cable. Anyway here's some new pic's.

Went to work on the fenders yesterday! Robbed some PE fenders from a another tiger kit, but they needed new supports. So I made new ones out of styrene. Here are some pictures of the outcome.

That's some nice color modulation in the base coat. It looks like a really nice all-around build so far.

Thanks doog!

Next chapter tracks and hull wrap up.

First I painted the tracks Tamiya flat brown.

Second I over sprayed the tracks with a very thin mixture of flat brown and nato black.

Next I dry brushed the tracks with Model Master metalizer gun metal.

Finally I dry brushed the tracks with silver.

Next I have completed the tools and now the bottom hull is pretty much complete. Next come the turret.
