Both good kits. The more modern the kit, the better the fit.
I often buy old tamiya kit's as they are cheaper but although the fit is usually good, there is alot of flash. Pantherman

Have you ever thought of just not glueing the top on, so you can lift it off to show the interior?

I'm sort of winging it regarding how it's going to finish. No clear plans but a few ideas though. Pantherman

Thanks, it's taking way longer than I thought. Probably another 3 weeks maybe. Put alot of time in over Xmas and New year as had 2 weeks off. Pantherman

Put the parts together to show you what the finished build will look like hopefully. Pantherman

Finally got the lower hull and interior done, primed and base painted. You will have to forgive the hull seem as it's the best fit I could do because I want to lift the whole top section off to be able to see inside.

Working on the turret and track's now so slowly getting there. Pantherman

That's comin together nicely. After the outside is finished I can't imagine that seam will be that noticeable. Plus I don't think there could've been a better location for it. Loving the look of this!
