Grids are lined in completely now. Phasers and RCS thrusters were picked out by hand

The decals really bring them to life. I use the microsol and microset from Microscale. They certainly help me with decals. Decals can be extremely frustrating and time consuming. Hope I actually get to put some on my entry.

But one question on the subject: I might be mistaking, but aren't the yellow rounds on the bottom of the ships (the one with a red border on USS and the one painted as an imperial might on the ISS) supposed to be the hatches for the WARP-core immediate ejection, thus being placed on the opposite side under the crystal dome?

My custom decals and I have been fighting for a good long while. Using the decal film marked the first time they didn't really try to curl on me

@Solander,
I'm figuring the rectangle is for the main core ejection in this case as it would ne almost right under where the "vertical shaft" would rise up into the nacelle pod

Okay, at this point, the decalling is pretty much complete.
The USS Odysseus will be ready for final assembly after another coat of sealer, while the ISS Odysseus needs some battle damage before she'll be ready.

Unless something goes terribly wrong, John, I'm honestly only expecting one more update on this.
Base is almost done, just really need to damage the ISS Odysseus and then get them both mounted to the base.
USS Odysseus went through final assembly tonight after I posted this
