The build is now finished.
The base was covered with a NASA graphic, then ID plates were added for the two ships.
Brass rod was inserted into the base to hold up the models.

they came out very nice. i love the contrasting styles of each ship. very original!!! also liked the last vid where you gave a brief history of each ship. That helps to personalize the project. Also liked your quote from the Hobbit, gonna use that with my team at work on Monday. Can't wait to see what you are doing next.
