Tamiya Panther...

Added photoetch grills, and am doing indy link tracks for it, set by Tamiya. Couple really fragile parts have broken but oh well. Won't be perfect. Thankfully German armor never is.

I have the lower hill primed and over half the road wheels idler and drive sprocket. Just no photos yet. At this point I have to add just a few pieces to the upper hull and then get it all in paint. That should be done today. Tomorrow hopefully Ill get around to finishing the tracks.

Also, may I suggest you take photos of your models by setting them against some neutral background, without holding them in your hand? A big sheet of blank paper or a length of cloth will work fine for that

I would love to. The problem here is space. I have to basically setup, do a session and tear down. So progress pics get what they get. Perils of living in a 30 foot trailer.

When done I have a few that are going to get full sessions. The armor I may even set out in the yellow grass and such around here.

If it's not raining/snowing/etc. outdoors is a good place to take pictures of almost anything… if dots okay with you …

Thats not even a possibility lol. I wish it were. Working on getting back to a place where I can have photo booth set up again.

Crap, I thought I took photos and posted them. I finished it up for the most part and then put it in storage. I might be headed there tomorrow, Ill see if I can go to the other unit(I have 2 there) and maybe grab a few photos. Weathering id done but I still have to paint some tools and details and glue them on, but needed to make room.

I hear ya on wanting to get this one off of your bench bud. I've been working on mine now for the past 6 months or so and like you.........it's time.

A really good rendering here with the ambush scheme and all of the weathering & details that you put into it. Thank you for taking the time to put up where you're at with it too. Good work across the board.

I'm gonna have to look those up. I used the Panzerwerks 3D printed resin tracks and those were super easy to work with but am open to other options.

Tamiya's set is non-workable, you have to glue them together and to the wheels. They're cheaper than 3D-printed tracks, but the workable part alone convinces me to spend more for that

I have several workable sets, none for the panther, as I wasnt concerned about it. I have files to print workable Tiger tracks, Marder II, and Panzer 3/4. I have some T48 I think, and I have some I designed but havent printed yet.
