Scratchy's Fine Molds 1/144 Millennium Falcon

Thanks Quaralane, when I eventually finish detailing the top half of the hull, I'll create an image that highlights all the detail areas and I'll describe each point. I'll have three images in one pic.... original, detailed and highlighted descriptive.

Looking great, I'd love to know how you work with that scale, a true master craftsman

Thanks Jaitea. I think it comes down to the tools that I use, maybe with the next update, I'll shoot a couple pics of the tools as well. The pic isn't very big compared to the original. There is a larger image at the link below

Thanks guys!

Here's some work on the starboard side of the Falcon. I scratched up some mini Belfast cranes and carved some excess plastic out of the kit parts.

I also added extra detail to the port side of the upper jaw box, and added more mini Belfast cranes.

I cutout the trailer wishbone and added a new one and a few more parts and the missing armour plate that's between the top gunner turret and the jaw box.

I carved out the molded details and added my own to the top of the jaw box. I carved a couple areas at the front as well and I'll add more pieces here as well.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Once I get finished with the detailing,.... I will not be looking forward to all the sanding that needs to be done :-\

Can anybody supply a link to the lighting pattern for the bottom of the hull of the Falcon. Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

scratchy
