Noob modeler saying hello from the upper Midwest. I built a few models as kid and have decided take it up again after 30 + years. Found the forums when I was on YouTube looking for model building videos to get a little instruction, lots of good stuff there. Iv'e been lurking for a few weeks and have decided to join because it seems like a nice friendly place.
I really like 1/48 scale aircraft, jets and WW2 stuff, it's all good to me. My goal is to at least get nice seamless builds with a good looking finish for my display shelf, I'm not interested in contests or anything like that. Hopefully in the the coming weeks and months I can start sharing photos like the nice looking models I'm seeing here.
