Question about VoodooFX lighting kit for BSG Viper MkII

Hi guys. I just purchased Moebius' Models Viper Mk. II kit and i want to light it. Ive never done anything like that. I have the lighting kit for my Revell Republic Star Destroyer from Madman and it is pretty much a snap together kit. They dont offer one for the Viper but i found one at VoodooFX. Problem is VooDooFX says "(This kit requires electronic building skills.) Board soldering and wire make up is required". IDo the directions included with the light set do a good enough job of walking you through the assembly that a newbie can figure it out or do i need to find out how to do this somewhere else? If so, any suggestions on where i learn these skills? Thanks guys.

If I remember right, kits from voodoo fx have pretty good instructions. So putting the board together shouldn't be a problem. The skills you will need are basic soldering. You will also have to figure out how long you want the wires on the LED's.
