Painting Question/advice?

In the painting stages of a Trumpeter E-50. Any recommendations as to what to paint the edges of the roadwheels? They are supposed to be the steel rimed type. I'm thinking a steely-grey color, but I can't find one I like.

My suggestion....paint the edge flat black, and then get yourself a bottle of AK Interactive's Dark Steel Pigment, and rub the pigment over the black, and viola....instant steel.

or get some Metal cote from Humbrol paint it on and Buff it give it about 10-15min to dry
