At least on my end, you can click on the pictures to make them bigger.

I see you had to pull out the putty! I had same issues with the kit. My doors keep falling off too. I need to take it down and glue them on. Fun kit even if it isn't very well fitting!
First time using the putty in awhile. Could have done better i think.

Here are some older pictures of it.
Nice job! And thanks for sharing the photos. They bring back a lot of memories of building this kit as a teenager.
Your build turned out orders of magnitude better than mine. I remember reading that the pros used a clearcoat to protect their models. I decided I better give it a try so I used a spray can of clearcoat. Well, my attempts didn't turn out very. I sprayed it on so thick that it ran down over the sides and frosted all the clear parts! An costly lesson that I wasn't Shepard Paine!
I still thought it was a cool model!

Very cool. Looks great!

Being all of 10 years old in 1968, there was a Huey in every imaginary battle scenario we'd conjure up in the field behind our house. Of course, you couldn't turn on the tv without seeing footage featuring a helicopter.

And a couple of your photos, especially showing the open doors, are tweaking memories of building, and never finishing, this or a very similar kit in early high school... probably my last build before returning to the hobby in my mid-fifties!

Thanks for posting.
