Millennium Falcon (Ralph McQuarrie Concept Version)

I've been caught up in look at greeblies on this but man, that lack of armor and the new plating really changes the feel of this. Excellent.

A good start with the cockpit

Thanks Q, it has been the next biggest pain next to the docking tube (I suppose right next to the docking tube :D)

That's one sleek ride, I want one! How many spacebucks are we talking here? :D

Well, that's the trick, isn't it? And it's going to cost you
something extra. Ten thousand in advance. ;)

Thanks Scott, the main greeblies are from a Revell 1/72 Merkava & Warrior MCV,....Yeah I'd been working on the cockpit....pretty much in depth for a few days on & off without really looking at the main ship & the lack of open bays & different panels does change the look of the ship.....dunno :-\

Thanks Solander, once over the cockpit hurdle I'll be happier!

Onto the cockpit.......hmmmm

I made the seats way too small to start off with,....didn't photo them :-[

Scratched these ones:

Still to add more frames & panel to the cockpit & repeat the walkway from the top to the underside also.

Thanks very much for the encouragement guys

Wicked!!! :D that side profile shot is spot on!

Thanks John, I didn't really spot it 'by eye' but the photo makes me notice that the cockpit isn't level.....at this stage it can be rectified:

I should be back to full speed again, doing more paneling, need to work out the boarding ramp, the paintings show that its telescopic:

I would have let that slide lol. John start slinging some paint around! I will be devastated if this isn't finished by the end of the comp...no pressure ;D
