From the closing date of the contest, I've been undoing & redoing some parts of the ship that I rushed

Thanks very much to everyone who voted for me......very shocked, this is the greatest place with the best bunch of people, I've enjoyed the whole process....can't wait for the next one ;D

Anyhow.....what I've been up to:

I've removed the gear doors because I want to be able to attach & remove them, hopefully using magnets (like my other Falcons):

& almost finished the pannelling on the underside:

The far side wall is now finished:

& testing Blast marks:



as I said before.....have to get this done, so I can get back to the MPC Falcon

Yeah its a modification of the cheap Revell Snap-tight Falcon

OK, the front landing gear,.....held on with magnets



The boarding ramp (still to make the telescopic parts).....held on with.....

......a magnet

a replacement part for the ramp closed

The front gear off

...and a replacement part for the doors closed

....next to make the rest of the landing gear.....then paint & finish

Whoa! That's pretty fugg'n cool! I love it when someone takes one of Mr. McQuarries concepts and makes it look like a seamless part of the SW universe. Very nice work! ;D

Can you tell me how did you make the hull damage....looks great.
I want to apply the same techique to my AT-AT

Thanks levo, nice Walker.....I just marked out the damage with a pencil then gouged out the scar lines with a scalpel...the blast holes/molten hull scars were just hand drilled with various sizes of drill bits
