Ok, got Sarah built up and added a handkerchief to try and stop her bleeding.
These were fun kits, and I clearly need more practice at figure painting, not sure if I'll go that route or not.
I'm a bit tempted to create a diorama for the figures and build another patrol car... hmmmm. We'll see

Dang, Shark, Sarah is looking great, and so are the boy and girl in blue!

I can't advise on acrylics, but if you ever cross back to the "side of light", i.e., oils, I can toss in a tech or two.

Ruck On, this is coming along most expertly.

P.S. Your secret painting high heels is safe with us, Brother:D

Thank you my friend! That is high-praise coming from you-

I only painted the high heels on a dare..... I was young and needed the money!!!!:D

Added a bit more details to Sarah and decided I should attach them to something. If I do make a diorama for them, I can rearrange them as needed.

I have these Art Cards (another product from my wife's Aunt's hoard clean out) and they seem to have no purpose, so I figured I'd use as small bases, cutting and painting them up to look like asphalt.
I'll put the figures on them with a little Tacky Glue, that way I can display them next to one of the patrol cars for now and either leave them, or remove them and put them into a purpose built dio later.
Bit of black, dry brush grey and white striping, instant street.

Great work!

That matte coat came out really nice. Looks as good as testors dull coate

Regarding the Vallejo matte. I never had a problem with it being shiny, but then again, maybe the formula was changed
Also, I brush it on instead of airbrushing. Not sure if that makes a difference

I know some of the old citadel and other various matte sprays could actually wind up a bit glossy if applied to heavily or evenly like rattle can or airbrush

Thank you.
The figures were brush painted, not sure why the Vallejo matt didn't work, but it left them shinier than before the application.
The AK Ultra Matte solved that and it will be my go to from now on.
