I'd stir it if the solids have settled to the bottom -- moderate shaking during use isn't goin to be much of an issue .
This reminds me of bartending back in the day and one of my colleagues telling a customer that shaking a martini " bruises the gin "
I so much wanted to say something but , the show must go on I guess .
