M2A2 BRADLEY

I did mine with a plastic call card and filler... regarding with the Tamiya it got some fitting issue according to my 2 fellow modelers its has the same mold just added sprues for the TUSK, now it got a price drop here... Thankfully for them I'm about grab one :D

Thats just it....its not the same kit, other than the lower hull, the rest of the kit is newly tooled, not just the old kit with added sprues for the tusk parts.

2 separate reviews of the kit say the same thing, as well I have the Tusk here along with the older Tamiya M1A2, and I can say for sure that the only thing the Tusk shares with the older M1 kits is the lower hull.

The Bradley kits were pretty much the same, from the M2 to the M2A2, most of it is new over the M2, other than the lower hull, and maybe the wheels. The M2A2 and M2A2 ODS, there is very little difference, just the ODS items added into the kit.

Last night I set down and finished construction of the upper hull and even applied some paint. I have started out by painting everything Tamiya Nato Brown to get the shadow effect. Now I'm shading up from there. Here are some progress pic's and thanks for following along.

Looking good, love the effect from the NATO Brown to the sand to give it the shadows, you wouldn't think there would be much, but it adds such a nice and subtle effect.

Everything has shadows if it's in the light the trick is figuring out what color it should be.

Thanks!

I have done a little turret work, but not quite finished. Here are some pictures of things so far.

Been working on the turret. Now it is finished in fact model construction is finished. I have added some minor details that you will be able to see in the following pictures. The turret has been painted and blended with the hull. The next step will be adding the clear coat and then decals. Here are some pictures of my progress. Comments and questions are welcome.
