I hope I did not miss the post where you said that but what is the wire you use to make these grey tubes?

The guns look fantastic in place!

I was wondering if you considered using brass tubing, instead of styrene, for strength. But I guess in this application, the plastic tubing is strong enough, in this short length.

Thanks! I just used what I had on hand. When I get the inspiration it best for me to build it as soon as possible.

They are made from solder wire. .055" wrapped with .015" dia. wire. I used solder because it easy to shape and bend.

I have been working on the lift engines. It's kinda like working on road wheels doing the same thing over and over.



Next I am in the process of replacing the kit parts with something a little real looking.
