Bout ye mucker?, I'm making an MPC Falcon based on the 5ft SW version and the FM which is based on the ESB 32" version,.....only making a few adjustments first:

Going back to when I discovered that I'd made the cockpit too large, I also noticed that the front of the jaw was too steep & too deep

Thanks Peza, the lights actually look better on video.....glows more.

When I first bought my FM Falcon I considered EL, but it was too expensive & you could only get it from the States....but now its a LOT cheaper...and you can get it locally,.....thanks to the PC mod people, auto customisers.....& Tron cosplay.

Still working on cockpit, but this is it tacked together

Going to have to build some sort if frame inside the ship to keep it more stable & to untwist the portside mandible

This would also double up as a good support if i was to make a stand for her in flying mode

Hi Peza, yes I've been working on the twisted mandible for a week or so, at this stage every modification I do to correct things effects other parts of the ship, I built an inner structure to correct the twist but that in turn effected the starboard mandible's vertical height....which I had to fix. That made me notice that the short bit of sidewall behind the cockpit tube looked as though it was sloping down....whatever I did to try an brace it straight wouldn't work so I had to apply heat to it and re-set it.

I thought I was happy till I noticed that the Jaw Boxes weren't level any more, so I had to remove the bottom one and take most of the scratch details off the top one to adjust it.

Now the ship weighs a tonne with all the additional plastic & epoxy....but it looks a lot better & sturdier.

Hopefully post some photos tonight, didn't want to post anything till I felt everything was ok

eh up buddy,ouch i feel ya pain, its been the same on mine.some small detail errors left but i know i`ll look at it again in time and say that wont do,be this is what makes a good model at the end.we might not have any hair and in need of a new punch bag...who said model makin is painless ;D cheers mym8 peza

No, I'm keeping the MPC it as it was in Star Wars, I've got the FineMolds kit & it will have the 5 bays as in ESB & RotJ

I added some details to the inside of the jaw of the MPC:
