No, that is real. There is no atmosphere to block the stars light around the sun.

you can go to the soho website, the stars are visible with the sun blocked out.

so you agree we should not be able to see the stars and planets beside our sun at the 3:20 mark?

or are you saying our sun is less bright in outer space and you can just look at it and see beside it?

or they now have special cameras that can fillter out the sun so we can see beside it?

I am saying the photos/video are not SFX. They are real photos. The stars are and aren't visible simply because of the cameras settings at the time the pics/video was taken.

With the right kind of camera and filters and different angles you should easily be able to see around the sun. If you were parked right next to the sun taking pictures no probably not.

Sure.....but considering this was a camera either attached to the spacecraft, or looking out a window from inside the space craft, I doubt they worried too much about proper settings and filters to make sure the stars showed up.

No reason to believe this is anything but genuine with no SFX.

looks pretty real to me and im sure nasa have a bloody very good camera on the outter hull for taking them kind of pics, they aslo have one guy taking pictures all the time, and i beleve he uses a Nikon with some real fancy lenses all suplied by nasa of course,

well you have to filter the sun's brightness out in order to see anything around it, thats a true statement.

this is also not an official nasa video, it comes from a nasa supported blog site.

Can anyone find another type of reentry video like this that comes from an offical site........eg nase soho?
