Hey everybody, I am looking forward to participating in this forum.

Now that the kids are gone and I have more free time, I am getting back into my hobbies. Obviously, my joining this forum suggests that one of those hobbies is scale modeling.

I am not sure what I will be entering into the contest, and at best I may stand a chance at a random prize, but it should be a lot of fun. I am sure I will learn a lot here and look forward to interacting with you all.

Hello and Welcome. I got back into model building about a year and a half ago. I entered the contest and won a prize last year, so it is possible to win when you just get back into it. The entry fee is low and you have nothing to lose. Most of the members here are free with advice. Run into trouble, post it someone will answer.
