Wow! Interesting! Here are the ones I bought. I'll use some of them, like the interior stuff and number plate.

Looks great. My first impression with my eyes just looking at the body. My eyes told me that rust looks great. Not looking at the wheels or the wheel wells just the body. That's what my eyes told me. Great rust effect. Don't get mad. I know it's supposed to be mud but that's what my eyes told meFirst coat of mud.... Trying a new technique here....View attachment 172517
Yeah it's not dry brushed in the coler yet or the sticks so on...Looks great. My first impression with my eyes just looking at the body. My eyes told me that rust looks great. Oh I understand you're not done yet. I was just saying that the way it looked in the picture was a great depiction if you want to portray a vehicle with rust. I mean, hello? I'm tempted to ask you how you did thatYeah it's not dry brushed in the coler yet or the sticks so on...
Just looking at that I get the urge to go scrape off my boots!

Yipper @Bob T , I'm only halfway through my cargo truck build, and still working on my entry for the 'Dive bomber GB'Take as long as you want. Pantherman
Well, looks great now... looking forward to the 'cargo', and to see how you weather the whole shebang!somewhere at the beginning
Ooh boy!camo with an airbrush
My advice is to first draw it on the model with a pencil, and only then reach for the airbrush.I need to figure out how I am going to handle the camo paint job.
Nice build. PanthermanWell I am pretty much done. I tried a new way of doing my mud, I did not want to overwhelm the model but wanted realistic looks. I think turned out ok.
I ran into an issue with the guy so need a different head. For some reason no matter what I do I cannot get paint to adhere to it.
I may do a few more small things but I think overall done here. What you guys think? Ok? View attachment 172901View attachment 172902View attachment 172903View attachment 172904
It looks like everything is: in both photos, all the colours seem to have hard edges to them. And it's pretty clear in this photo, the blackish color is hand painted.

I think I would add a lighter or darker shade to the mud. Probably darker in the centres of the larger or thicker bits to give an impression of drying mud — if you were to add a lighter colour it would need to be around the edges, and then you'd have to do that to pretty much every blob of mud on the model. What you guys think? Ok?
Oh man, drag. That's almost as bad as fumbling your model as you're walking out the door to paint it outside.Apparently, one of my cardboard sheets I use to control overspray, decided to fall over last night.
It landed on the primed parts, causing significant damage.
Both mirrors mangled, drive shaft snapped off, gonna take a little time and effort to fix...Sigh.
