Hey all
I'm going to try my at foiling an airplane. I've been reading up on it and want to know how to cut the foil. do you use and exacto knife, scissors or what? Bare Metal foil is easy as it has a cardboard backing but tinfoil doesn't. What a good solution to getting a clean cut?

For a clean cut you need a hard surface and a real sharp blade. I did a foiling tutorial last year here. Might find it usefull

i personally only use a new blade and cut on a piece of glass or very flat surface and use a square. I also found that an old paint brushes wooden handle (round obviuosly) worked well for burnishing larger areas. Have fun..
