Hello all

Today while applying a wash to a F4 Phantom that i had been working on for awhile i encountered trouble.
I brushed on my raw umber artist oil i've used for years Grumbacher oil color to the panel lines after letting it dwell
for 10 minutes i began to remove it with turpenoid, to my shock i realized that this turpenoid was pulling my acrylic
clear coat pleadge floor finish from the model. The oil paint was thinned with this turpenoid/natural as its called on
the label, non toxic and non flammable and smells like citrus its by martin f weber co. I purchased it some time ago
and used it for the first time today. I thought i was on my way to ruining a awesome paint and decal job! Now i'm
no beginner and was building this model for a friend who maintained them in Vietnam. so my heart sank when i saw
what was happening, the pleadge, by johnson was allowed to cure for a week and half. Under that the paint is testers
enamel applied months ago. any coments and opinions greatly appreciated
