I found a Sabre once, and it wasn't that hard.....

My dad told me when he flew USAF Air/Sea Rescue they landed at a SAC base once when flying from west coast to east coast and 2 halftracks met them on the taxiway and escorted them , with 50 cals trained on each side of the plane , all the way in and then escorted them to the barracks and chow hall . Under constant guard , lulz .
It was home to some F-86 wing ,
the newest , hottest fighter back then . super high security . he didn't get to see one up close like he wanted

It's at the New England Air Museum......I just learned its about a three hour drive from me. Gonna have to check it out in person
