BSG-47 Battlestar Solaria

Looks terrific Q! I'm looking forward to the finale with all her lights on.

This is looking really great, Q!
All those soot and damaged areas You've achieved via the wash are awesome, and it is really impossible to say now where was the kit's hull, and where are the plates You've added. Thumbs up!

Ready for the finale Q! The wash made a huge difference. Love the base as well.

Re: BSG-47 Battlestar Solaria--FINISHED

And here we have it.
The final update on the BSG-47, Battlestar Solaria.
I used a combination of drybrushing with Vallejo Smoke and my old Testors' tube glue and match technique to provide an appropriate level of wear to the old girl.
Had to reinforce the base with some wood stock to help support the model better.
But now, without further ado, I give you the finished build pics:

Bravo, Sir!!!!
She definitely looks like she's seen A LOT of action!
The way she SHOULD look!!!! :D ;D ;D ;D

Congrats with the finish, Q!
And You did a really nice job here, my friend.
The old lady looks brilliant! Well done! :)

Thanks for all the compliments, guys.
The way she turned out, I decided to go back and redo my "Galactica's" paint to match them up better

Great stuff as usual Q. Sorry I'm just looking at the thread now; I've been busy and now I'm awash in a tsunami of contest posts. Some excellent stuff. Glad I didn't enter anything in the Sci-fi category, stiff competition...
