Looking great so far.The Hangar deck floor would be deck Blue and surrounding walls etc would be white.Hope that helps mate.

According to White Ensign Models the hanger deck is # 20 standard Deck Gray (US 02); the hanger walls, and bulkheads s/b 5-U White (C-03). Hey Chris Here is A reference which you may already know about , or you may not be interested. Davidsscalemodels.com, David does commission work, and he is good. In 2021 he built a CV-8 based on the Doolittle Raid. The was in the days off only 350 scale. but he did run lights. MANY THANK B/B an yes ive done loads of big models over the las 30 odd yrs so got a little know how on how to build an paint ships but mostly scratchbuilts one to sailI can see this isn't your first time around the park on a boat! Looks great.

OH thats a dissapointment Sailor as i thought you would build your hornet along side mineThe Hull looks great. That is a lot of paint! It will be a while before I can get to any painting. I have 5 house projects to complete, plus I have this Sherman tank project on the side.
