HI ALL well GlennS ASKED So, where are the photos of the Nimitz?
SO im gonna post some pics of how my BIG NIMITZ was scratch built an please exscuse the first few pics as not brillaint as i had a crap camera but later the pics will get better as i bought a CANON CAMERA an some of the pics have been taken off my old windows vista laptop
SO HERE WE GO
AN some facts about the model before i begin posting pics
the model was completly scratch built hull an all in 1/144 scale as any bigger scale the model would be to big to lift an transport to the pond as it was fully R/C
WORKING FEATURES were 4 motors with bronce 5 bladed props
an 4 working rudders an working aircraft elevators an opening hangar doors with light fitted in the hangars an lights on the flight deck an in the sponsons
AN it came in half for transport to pond
AN 5 WORKIN RADARS from one motor
an BRIDGE LIGHTS
an working BRIDEL CATCHES as they were spring loaded in case the ship hit the ponds concrete wall
AN aircraft lit up with motors an nav lights
an so now the first pic is the hull frames
AN THIS WAS A 7YR BUILD
