HI all well ive taken some pics of my p/e work against my better judgement as it will be seen when i post pics of what ive fitted on the ship but first just got to resize the pics from M/B to K/B size then i can post the pics an hear you all groan lol

HI ALL well here is the build restarted an firstly i bought the 4th head magnifer as over the last 30 odd yrs ive worn up 3 others so this is the 4th one an looks good as got led lights fitted an 3 lots of magnifiers glasses so should be good for a year or two

WELL HERE we go dont try an look at the p/e railings as they are terrible as this p/e is rubbish as if i try an bend it with them plyiers that p/m bought me the p/e just breaks in half so im goin to leave most of it off the model will try again today to fit some nice straight bit but no curves as my nerves are at breaking point an im not enjoyin building this model so if i leave off the ole p/e hopefully i will get back to enjoying the build

HI GUYS now that you all have finished laughin at that crazy cat of ours as yes she is really weird never known a cat like her lol an yes today i got off my butt an fitted 2 lots of P/E ON THE HORNETS BOW an by god its thin an very fragile took me all this afternoon to fit it till i got the shakes but at least i dont have to worry about painting them as it would be very awkward to do so when glued to the ship an some pics of them p/e railings not finished but it finished me today

Absolutely no problem at all. We can give it a go, I would like to try your PE first and then the Trumpeter PE so we can see the difference. Pantherman

an yes we give it a go on both of them an see how we go but i think my p/e is just to fragile but may be wrong but you an battleshipbob are usein your p/e ok so problery is me with the shakes

HI Holz44 yes im tryin hard at this ship but been ill for the last 5 wks an this ole p/e is wreckin my working time an my nerves as its takein far to long to fit to me anyway an its not good as very fragile an ive binned some as its crap in my opinion an the B25 takin off by APRIL well im sorry but wont happen sir as there is still near 4 boxes full of parts still to go on this ship perhaps next yr sir as it doent give a parts count in the kit but i think nr a 1000 parts as this is a big model but many thanks for your reply an SORRY i cant meet your deadline sir

ive used the generic PE rails bought from china on ebay... its been super durable , thick and heavy. not like the dental floss supplied with some kits

I have also used the cheaper PE on my Bismarck and it's definitely more sturdy than most. Pantherman

I noticed the same thing with the my Trumpeter USS IOWA build. The kit PE was a little more durable then the Pontos PE.

The quality was there for the price. With quality along came thinner, flimsy, parts to represent the scale better, I guess. It was a problem working with parts that thin and not break them.

WELL kevin panther man is popin over to see me at the months end 22nd an he is goin to compare the p/e between the pontos an mine if i got that right so untill then its wait an see but im goin to try an fit some more p/e on tomorrow as had freinds here today so no chance at the ship

WELL here we go again on this P/E it continues to send me nuts but ive now started here on the stern an it took 3 days of the shakes an me sweatin like heck but i think im gettin a bit better at fittin it as to my amazement the P/E looks fairly straight an good thats done my mojo no end of good miricales do happen lol BUT yes there is one lol while i was tryin to fit the top P/E ive only gone an bent the bottom P/E so ive noe got to try an get a small screw driver an try an staighten it out AAAAAAARRRRRRCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
