HI Guys well cant do anymore on the bow as ive got to fit on the railings P/E an ive been lookin at how battleship bob does his but he has a gatget called a looper to run his c/a onto the very thin P/E so to stick it into place on his ship but as i havnt got one an i dont understand how bob uses it so sittin an havin a think as ive only got one bit for every P/E ive decided to cheat on how i will fit my P/E on the hornets bow but not goin to say anymore for now till my idea either works or goes pearshaped oh dear an a pic of my P/E that fits on the bow but firstly i will have to use a very smooth sand paper to gently rough the P/E up an then spray it light grey paint an then gently usein my idea to try an glue it to the hull sides

You can make your own applicators from sewing needles

Hi, I have just realised that I have missed most of your build so I have read through the whole thread to catch up.

Loving the build up to now, it looks great. I have just bought some ultra thin CA which I didn't even realise existed, can't wait to have a go with it. Pantherman

what I will be using
...if it is anything like the BSI super thin, practice ahead of time!
Not to be alarmist, but like a bad leak in your roof, it can find its own path and run where you don't want it to go...
I wish I could tell you how well this 'Eraser' stuff works, as I've not tried it yet, but work out a plan of how to deal with excess.
My two cents.

AN NOW to do the parts ive been dreading the railings P/E oh dear hope i dont get the shakes

HI P/M how did the railin fit go on the bizzy ?
chrisb
It's fiddley work, very slow going but enjoyable. Barely was right about being careful with the ultra thin CA, just the slightest touch and it's everywhere.

Think I have got the hang of it and I will definitely know how to use it after fitting and these tiny railings. Pantherman

why not you a glue loopper like i may as my freind Battleship bob swears by them as very good but im goin to use a darning needle
chris

G/M GUYS
well ive had the kick in the pants from jen lol an at 9-30 this morn ive been up to the model room an lightly sanded down the p/e so the light grey spray paint has something to stick too an its now dryin off for a couple of hrs with the windows slightly open to let the paint smell out so im off again with mojo intact
chrisb

HI GUYS now that you all have finished laughin at that crazy cat of ours as yes she is really weird never known a cat like her lol an yes today i got off my butt an fitted 2 lots of P/E ON THE HORNETS BOW an by god its thin an very fragile took me all this afternoon to fit it till i got the shakes but at least i dont have to worry about painting them as it would be very awkward to do so when glued to the ship an some pics of them p/e railings not finished but it finished me today

Obviously a Feline American Princess, there to lend her beauty to your efforts.

"Yep, it's authentic all right."

"How can you tell?"

"It's got cat hair on it."
