Hi guys, my first post on SMA!
Right from the get go I decided I didn't want to do yet another grey AT-ST, so I've decided on a desert scheme for a Recon unit on Tatooine operating in amongst the wadis of the Judland Wastes fighting a Tusken Raider insurrection. My scheme will be roughly based on this one...........
As many of you have already found out this kit goes together like a dream. This is my first ever Bandai kit and I was shocked at just how good it is! Best engineered kit I've ever built!
I decided to paint the cockpit in something a little different..........
Then it was on to the mid section..............
Base colours on, and chipping started................
Then some washes...........
........... and hoses, oil paint weathering and some pigments............
Then on to the legs.............
Now it's chipping time! Have to go slow here and take my time as the lower legs would have taken the heaviest beating due to scraping against rocks, falling rocks, shrapnel, wind, sand etc. So a little bit of logical thought has to go into this. First, the light chipping down to the base colour.............
That's it so far. Hope you like it. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about my build!
Cheers
Richard
