I have a few 1/350 ships in waiting, I do mostly WWII U.S. aircraft.thanks been working on it for a few months now.
Went to diego back in 81. thats when i got my shellyI was in the Navy in early '80's. Not on a ship though. Seabees USNMCB-62 out of Gulfport, MS.
Spent '81-'82 on Diego Garcia. Oh what fun!!

wow, we just did a pass through. but the detroit was the first us military ship to transit the suezWe built the two 36 room barracks there.
I did that one, also from Air Fix, they have the ground maintenance vehicles. Makes for a nice diorama.

Sweet! A couple of us have the Missouri, I know I'll be watching this.Going to have to change up what hits the work bench next. I don't have green paint for the B17. So I will bench a 1/350 Jersey BB-62
