It's tiny but you made a great job. All the small ones I buy are built in minutes. I only take my time on the big stuff. that terrain looks so nice. Love the weathering work. Good job! ;)
it is called pledge multi surface wax, most asdas have them, but i dont think any other shops hold them

its almost the same ( has perfume and milky colour, but dries clear) HTH
it should work i think on tinted canopies, also this tutorial will be helpful for removing the seams, also, toothpaste works well instead of tamiya compound, as they are quite on the expensive side.
Removing Canopy Glass Seam Lines : Tutorial
i just brush paint, and i cannot find a primer decent when brushed on, so i almost always use spray cans.
btw, this video will help a lot when painting, and be sure to experiment.
How to hand paint Gunpla/Mecha
no, prime after, but be careful you dont break the part, also,(i dont want to hijack this thread but how do you slightly curve a small pe piece, is annealing needed)
wash it with warm, soapy water and prime with regular primer. Also, sanding the surface slightly to make it rough will improve paint adhesion if it refuses to stick.

nice build, like the paint job a lot and masking is top notch.
1 q. tho, is the paint brushed on or airbrushed?
and that red and white other way round circle thing makes it unique 8)
you dont need a glue looper, as it has a very fine brush, which is v. fine, (00 brush), although it is as thin as water, so i assume yes.
like the pic on this page http://hobbyzone.ro/tamiya-87038-extra-thin-cement-40ml-p706.html
oh, k thx, and btw, i'm low on budget so i had to make the exhausts OOB, 5 panels, with 2 pipes on each panel, which is put on 2 pieces, then 2 of them are made... oh God :'( then painting too, but it's all worth it. 8)
anyway, how's progress?
hey... im doing this modle at the same time, and im so confused as to where C17 goes on the bottom of p.1, anyway, that aires nozzle should fit, since hasagewa and this is practically the same.
jus got this kit today, and im at pretty much the exact same point, gonna be looking for help on this one... no pressure, lol ;D
anyway, very nice progress.
also, you don't need to build a perfectly painted model, but take it in steps, i.e work on assembly rocess, buy whatever you need, then do the paint, maybe do another modle or two repeating, and use the first model(probably going to be the worst out of them, and practise weathering on it. etc. hth ;D
1. it is not necessary, but for decals too look nice, and if you want a different sheen to the one already there, you will need a gloss/matt/satin coat. for decals too look nice, and not have silvering(when it looks glossy and wierd, a gloss coat is necessary before application, and a coat of...
Nn 1/35 scale, just get a very fine brush and thinned paint, and just take your time, and use a magnifying glass.Make sure the brush is sable and good quality too, then it will keep a nice point, good luck.
nice ank, definitely needs the wheels and tracks painted but a very nice upper hull... are you sure it's your first kit... because compared to my model is like comparig a ford ka to a bentley. ;)
